YUMMY SOURDOUGH PUMPKIN SCONES

These pumpkin spice sourdough scones are amazing and not too sweet. They are a fast treat and it's hard to not eat just one. ** I have misplaced the source for this recipe, however, in my research, they are all quite similar. If you happen upon the source, send me a link so I may give appropriate credit.

Preheat your oven to 400 F and line your large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl - add 250 grams of All Purpose Flour - I use unbleached/organic (always), 100 grams of brown sugar (light or dark), 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice, 6 grams of baking powder, 3 grams of baking soda and 2 grams of salt (I use Himalayan sea salt). Add 120 grams of very cold butter - cubed. Doesn't matter if salted or unsalted.
*
Mix this up into a crumble. I use my clean fingers. A pastry cutter works well.
Add 20 grams of pumpkin pure - I use Trader Joes. Add 5 grams of vanilla extract and 100 grams of sourdough starter (or your discard).
*
Mix this together - it will be a lovely sticky dough.

Tip the dough onto your lightly floured surface and push it into a rectangle shape. It should end up being about 10x6 inches or so. Cut this in triangles and place on your large baking sheet. Bake at 400 f for about 20-25 minutes.
We try to limit sugar, but these just seemed to demand that white glaze. 120 grams of powdered sugar and 20 grams of milk.
Enjoy!
