THE VISION
In a world that rarely slows down, Sabbath Table gatherings offer a sacred pause ---a time to stop, rest, delight, and worship. We gather around a table with candles lit, sourdough or challah, most often simple chicken soup and a salad. Blessings are spoken and then a time for relaxed conversation. It's not complicated. It is countercultural. And, we believe it's deeply needed.
WHAT IS A SABBATH TABLE GATHERING?
It's a rhythm of rest --weekly. Whether it's just your family around your table or it's friends you invite to experience a shared meal - it's where family and friends come together and slow down, be present and rediscover their identity of beloved through rest, beauty and community - over the table.
The table and the meal we share mark the sacred threshold—the drawing of a line that says, “Enough.”
"The Sabbath is not your reward for finished work, it is your rescue from unfinished work." Matt Canlis
As we gather, light the candles, and bless the bread, we step out of the rhythm of work and into the rhythm of rest. This shared meal becomes our transition into Sabbath—a 24-hour pause where we stop striving, slow down, and remember what truly matters. It’s not just dinner—it’s the doorway into delight, connection, and renewal.
The table is the doorway into delight, connection, and renewal.
