Working at The Simple Farm gives me a sense of peace and tranquility. I can get
my hands dirty and spend time in God’s creation. Planting seeds and anticipating
what beautiful plants will grow over the weeks is so rewarding. All the different
scents, sights, and tastes in the Garden are pleasing to the senses! Through the
farm, I was able to learn about certain plants that had health and skincare benefits.
I also learned how to make my very own loaf of fresh sourdough bread! I am
genuinely grateful to Mrs. Lylah for all the ways she’s poured into my heart! She’s
been a great mentor for me and always wants to see me improve.
