I'm all about reclaiming lost arts and basic life skills such as sourdough bread making, gardening and garden design, making cheese, goat keeping and any skill that connects the hand ... to the heart .... to the home.

Marie is one of these women who is a treasure and when I invited her to the farmhouse kitchen to collaborate with a Farmhouse Kitchen series - she said an immediate YES.

We talked about kefir and beet kvas and all the conversation in between were life giving, encouraging and inspirational.
