Connecting People to God, Each Other and Nature.
The Simple Farm (presently without a farm) is more than a place. It’s a multi-faceted ministry—a space for soul care, hospitality, prayer, spiritual formation, and rest. We invite you to take a few moments to explore who we are, the season we’re in, and the vision of Phase Two & Phase Three - which will begin on a new farm location.
"The Sabbath is not your reward for finished work, it is your rescue from unfinished work." - Matt Canlis
Taking a full day to rest is not a new idea—it’s ancient, as old as humanity itself. It’s called Sabbath.
Across time and cultures, people have embraced this weekly rhythm of stopping, resting, delighting, and worshiping. But somewhere along the way, many of us—especially within the Christian tradition—have reduced Sabbath to just an hour at church on Sunday, losing the heart of what it was meant to be: a full day set apart to reconnect with God, with each other, and with what truly matters.
Join us and be part of that movement. A movement with a counter-cultural rhythm that restores our souls, grounds our lives, and protects us from burnout. Observing Sabbath is not just about stopping work. It’s about coming back to life.
We open our home, invite guests to experience a Friday evening shared Sabbath meal. We also equip others to host Sabbath Table gatherings in their own homes providing resources to get started.
