SUMMER SABBATICAL - GARDEN INSPIRATION

This quarter of slow down and vision casting includes a Summer Sabbatical from Michael's Pastoral duties. Michael has pastored for 29 years and this is his/our first Sabbatical. I assume many have no clue what a Sabbatical is and why it's an important time of respite for anyone in the teaching/care of a group of people - like a Church/Parrish. If you're interested, this article will help explain some things.

Because of farm responsibilities, we are enjoying mini break-aways from the farm and recently we jaunted over to San Diego to spend a few days with family and then drove up the coast for a few day personnel retreat at Serra, a lovely Franciscan Retreat Center.
