Gathering - Because it's Good

One of my favorite moments from April's dinner at the farm was seeing all the guest arrive and capture slowly the beauty of the farm. Pretty much everyone says, "I didn't know this existed." Or they say, "Unbelievable, that THIS is in the Phoenix Valley."  It makes me realize how important it is to do something "different" like go to a local farm (in the city) for an evening of alfresco and experience the beauty, the conversation, the life of the farm and of course something amazing from the chef who collaborates with us making this sort of magic happens.

We are so thankful for Chef Derek Christiansen of Moonrise Standard. Check him  out here in this article from Phoenix New Times and here Chef Derek when he won on Food Network's "Cutthroat Kitchen."

Chef Derek (check out Moonrise Standard here) is one who invites the dinner guests to not only experience something new (his final menu is released the day or two before the dinner), but he invites the guests to have conversation with him, while he is prepping, roasting, and getting everything ready. His heart/theme/passion is to, "building community, one plate at a time."

There are a few reservation for this month's dinner we are calling COOL of the Evening Dinner. We would love for you to break away from the norm, break out of the box (so to speak) and come to the beautiful outdoors with a few friends and experience beauty, community, life at the farm and our table.
