When you see a tiny baby goat walk up to a big guard dog and find a soft spot on the back side - it has a way of simply melting you. This happened today. Cherry's baby girl and Winnie.
At this writing, Cherry seems to be turning corners after her "delivery from hell." If you follow our farm on Instagram - you would have caught the idea that it was horrible. We actually were losing her - BUT - to me, God poured out grace in a moment. Truly a moment of mercy. Today was the first day Cherry ventured out of her spot with her two little charges. And, then this - above. Simple melted me.
So, the farm is open Thursday morning and our lovely Laura of Picket Fence Pastries will be at the farm along with baskets of fresh made caramels! If you can't make it to the farm and have been wanting to order caramels - you can do so here.
Our farm dinner for April 13th here has just a few seats left. Michael and I would love to have you join us for this wonderful, relaxing slow food kind of evening.
