Sea Salt Caramels Are Our Thing

Prior to making caramels and starting a sea salt caramel business - you need to know - I'd never made a single caramel in my life. Fudge. Yes. Caramels. No. They sorta terrified me with how the sugar changes and becomes all caramely and has to have a certain smell (caramel like) and then adding cream and butter at just the right temperature kind of thing. But, when in Basque Country - Spain/France - it wasn't until inspiration came from the cutest confectionary in St. Jean de luz (our story is on the back of our caramel packages) . . . and the rest is history.

As a small business owner, we work hard at what we do. We make small batches of caramels with the most fresh ingredients - the fresh goat milk, fresh organic heavy cream, fresh organic butter, really good sea salt, lots of love and a watchful eye, organic sugar, and really good vanilla extract. We are thankful that other small businesses love what we do and pass that love on to their customers.
