Well, I don't know about you but the past few mornings, I opened my kitchen window and was almost giddy with the hint of cool air. It's what gives us desert dwellers hope - mornings like those.
Joy and her team of volunteers have been busy continuing to prep and plant for the first October 13 or October 20th FarmShop opening for 30 Farm Member Families and Farm Guests. As things progress, we'll confirm the date but I think it's gonna be the 13th.
Ten weeks - at $40 per week is what a farm member pays - the privilege of coming to the farm - walking past the gardens where beauty and goodness grows and then gathering their share of vegetables, herbs, flowers for the week.
So, what's growing? Broccoli, cauliflower, kale, chard, garlic chives, beets, carrots, spinach, mixed spicy greens, amazing lettuces, collard greens, turnips, peppers, eggplant, radishes, kholrabi for Allison, arugula, and a few other wonderful fall season produce.
