With the closing of our farm to the public and changing our plan to grow only for farm members (CSA) It seemed as if it was perfect time to see an idea unfold - the creation of our Farm Shop - a little shop with a collection of simple, made by hand goods from local women of Arizona and women of Oregon.
Months ago we started the renovation of the former farmer's market at our farm. Little bit by little bit a transformation has unfolded and will continue to unfold.
There's just something about hand made items - they tell a story - and they are an expression of the one creating the piece. I know each one of the women I've selected (so far) to include their items. I could tell you a "story of the heart" of each one.
Our Farm Shop will be open on the Second Thursday of each month for caramels, locally made gifts and flowers - from 9-11 am and from 3:30-5:30 pm. This is the same time our members pick up their produce we've set aside for them. No produce will be available for purchase.
We have our Promote the Goat tee shirts, French ticking aprons, our Grow, Cook, Create, Gather coffee mugs and flour sack tea towels, and organic cotton dish cloths.
We have red and blue French ticking tea towels and reusable organic cotton tea bags. We have our farm's Zinnia seeds.
We carry a wonderful selection of goat milk soap and will add to an existing apothecary selection of lavender scrubs and a specially made for us - essential oil body mist (coming soon). We have lavender and citrus soy candles and our own farm tea packets.
We have hand made Red Oak cheese boards and hand made cloth table napkins. We also have simple pine boxes for gift giving.
