You won’t want to miss joining us at the farm for an udder to table cheese making experiencing.
Our tentative Advanced Cheese-making agenda for the day:
6:30 am - Rise and shine and arrive at the farm (at 6:30 am) for our farm-style goat cheese quiche and organic French press coffee or tea...served in our milk parlour observatory.
7:15 am - Get an udder view - time to milk the girls. You’ll experience (from the observatory) the start of where your cheese comes from as we go through our daily milking chores.
8:15 am - Processing milk and all that goes with it.
Noon ish - Pick your own - farm style salad lunch, cheese platter and morracan mint tea served in one of our farm gardens.
Mingled in and out your time at the farm will include just the right mix of a how to and hands - on educational experience of the beautiful fermentation of raw milk into glorious cheese. You will make your own cheese.
