Thanksgiving Menu and Holiday Market Shopping

I love this time of year and the wonderful aromas that come from a home kitchen where all sorts of good food is being prepared: turkey, stuffing, sweet potato squash, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes . . and of course pie....all kinds of pie. 

So, a couple of farm and workshop news updates! 

Our REGULAR Thursday market on will be on TUESDAY from 8:30 until noon.  We know everyone is busy making lists and planning for their day of thanks menus and well as for Hanukkah which begins early this year. 

To help you plan, here's what we will be filling our market baskets with:

The second thing is a new super cool workshop to inspire you in preparing food to gather family and friends around your table.

Want to learn how to make the most incredible pie crusts ever from an amazing valley pastry chef? Well...we are in the process of scheduling her to come to the farm (on a Sunday afternoon) to teach you how to make that pie so all those you gather around your table this holiday season will say, "ahhhh."   Watch for workshop schedule to be updated soon!  And, we have more workshops coming up into the beginning of December. . . Making Holiday Jam is Thursday, December 5th, The Art of Fermentation is Sunday, December 8th (register here) and we will be posting a few gardening workshops in between - just so you can get ready to get ready for your January garden
