When a famous photographer comes to your farm

We have wonderful Thursday morning farm guests and two weeks ago, I was delighted to be able to meet Sasha Israel and her mom Deborah one of my local Instagram connections.

Sasha was visiting her mom, Deborah who lives here in the Phoenix Valley and while visiting our farm she asked if it was OK to photography me and the goaty girls. Little did I know, that Sasha is actually a famous photographer and recently was the principle photographer (check this out) with Grace Bonney's new book - In the Company of Women.

I just ordered the book here and what I love about just the title - is that it celebrates the women who have embraced freedom to live out their God-given identity as makers, artists, and entrepreneurs.  This book, quoting from Sasha's website,  features interviews and portraits of 100 of these exceptional leaders across a diverse range of races, ages, backgrounds, and industries.

We'd like to celebrate this freedom and so we are once again offering our caramel customers 20% off caramel purchases of $30 or more.   This offer will end in a few days. Scroll over image above to order these "soon to be" award winning salted goat milk caramels we have the great pleasure in dipping in fair trade dark chocolate - because we like it that way. Shop HERE for your other caramel flavor options.
