Farm Life Updates
The spring season seems to be upon us and this means we're getting ready to plant all those wonderful spring things - like tomatoes and summer squashes. I'm especially excited about the tomatoes and all the beautiful heirloom and specialty varieties that the grow center at our farm - aka Villardi Gardens has. It's most delightful to walk through her beautiful green house full - I mean full of amazing tomato plants. Besides planting and growing and seasonal changes - we're getting ready for new farm babies. With sweet anticipation we're expecting TEN - 10 - TEN in a few weeks. Michael's busy reworking a pen to be our new birthing pen. We're still taking reservations for these babies. Click here to see our beautiful herd genetics.
Last July, we made some farm/business changes - we closed our weekly Thursday market and French Cafe and we started a CSA farm/market model. We're LOVING the wonderful people who are part of our CSA. You really get to know each other - when you talk about how you're preparing a meal.
The end of December, we made the decision to start a Friday Morning Market (we just seem to grow a lot of food). This market has a different concept - it's directed toward the weekend cook and really provides everything needed to make that weekend meal a bit more fabulous. The idea was/is to provide a good selection of grab and go meal pairing options with our produce, Crow's Dairy goat cheese, Nourished Butters and Bone Broths, Grano de Vida breads and JH Holbrook Grassfed Meats
This market is open every Friday from 9 until 10:30 am. Joy, our farm manager, takes care of this market.
A new addition to this Friday market is Mama's Cold Brew (an amazing signature iced coffee with specialty creams). You can stop by the market this Friday and pick up your weekend cold brew.

We just launched our newest flavor - Hibiscus - a subtle surprise of deliciousness.
The Lewis is another new caramel infused with a bit of French Press organic coffee and of course it has that great combination of caramel and coffee.
The Heat is our caramel that has just the right touch of sweet and heat with a pinch of cayenne.
Maple and our original Sea Salt Bourbon Vanilla are on the top of everyone's favorite list.
