Two Craft of Cooking Classes
Chef Eric will teach you how to make those amazing French Mother Sauces - go here. This class is at 9 am.
Chef Eric's next class will be very helpful as you actually learn how to correctly de-bone a chicken - "the art of fabrication" and then save money and use every part creatively. He's also going to be bbq-ing a chicken for some feasting. Go here for more info.
Jill Green of Sweet Life Garden will be teaching a hands-on class Thursday morning at 10:15. Show up with gloves and closed toed shoes. Jill is a great hands-on teacher and in this class she'll show you how and then you will do it - how to correctly plant - seeds and vegetable starts in one of our new raised beds. You'll be planting kale and seeding either beets or carrots on the South Field. Class details here.
