Adding 100% Local Grass Fed Beef to Our Market

The heart of our farm is expressed in the words framed on this chalkboard  . . .

. . . which is to see the dignity of the meal table restored - families gather around - and people cook their own food - and ultimately gather food from their own gardens.

Everything about this farm - from our French market - the naturally grown food we grow - the local produce from other friends and vendors we provide - the gardening and raising chickens workshops - the cooking classes - the Simply Nourishing meal boxes - are all centrally purposed to inspire you to return - and gather loved ones back around your table . . . they are purposed to inspire you to create that sense of stability and sanctuary for yourself, your family, friends and even a stranger . . . in your the place where you dwell . . . and around your meal table.

For some time we have been providing - specialty breads and pastries, local honey and jams,  specialty butters, fresh herbs, goat's milk, goat's cheese, spring onions, potatoes, fresh herbs, chard, fennel, artichokes, flowers, goat milk caramels.  We grow everything we can (in it's season) for you to cook with: lettuces, squash, sorrel, herbs, tomatoes, radish, broccoli, peppers, eggplant, kale, melons, cucumbers, carrots, beets, arugula, beans, turnips, parsnips, ruby red grapefruit, figs, peaches, apples and eggs and bone broths too.

This is a ton (I think) to work with in cooking fresh and easy. One thing, I kept thinking I wanted to add was amazing beef or lamb. Enter JH Grassfed beef - LOCAL, UP THE STREET FROM US, 100% GRASSFED and the most amazing, compassionate rancher ever.

Here's his scoop:  JH Grass Fed is a local family-owned operation offering Grass Fed/Grass Finished beef and lamb. Their charge is to furnish health and quality - conscious consumers with the best meat, free from hormone, antibiotics, grains and other feed by products. Their meat is locally processed, dry-aged and inspected under Arizona Department of Agricultural regulations. The results are a quality product that is delicious, flavorful, and a tasty alternative to commercial commodity factory meat products.  For more info about this amazing family click here.

So, now - a delightful addition to add local, fresh deliciousness to cook with. And, so - plan to come to the farm, fill a market basket with everything wonderful and then head home and cook and gather and give thanks!
